I’m Lucy and i’m an holistic sleep consultant with a level 6 (degree equivalent) OCN certification. Ever since the birth of my own son, I have been fascinated by the intricacies of sleep, and compelled to use my experience and education to help others on their journey. I am not a sleep trainer and don’t advocate ‘cry it out’ by any name. I promote responsiveness and to that end respect the attachment between parent and child.
I work 1:1 with clients and will also be starting to run age bracket specific group workshops online soon.

Lucy helped me transition my 6 month old from only falling asleep feeding (and only sleeping in my bed) to falling asleep by herself in the cot. We did it gradually and gently. Lucy listened, was incredibly kind, thoughtful and encouraging, and I felt completely supported in my choice not to do cry-it-out. Only two weeks later I now have my evenings back, she is getting the sleep she needs during her naps in the day, and I am so unbelievably grateful and happy. I could not recommend Lucy highly enough.

As a new first time mum I had spent hours anxiously googling and scrolling social media for answers and tips to ease my worries around my daughter’s sleep. I was also getting terrified about the 4 month sleep regression from talking to other mum’s! What I came across in those wee hours of the night was a lot of conflicting, confusing information, basically telling me I was doing things wrong which then added to my worry!

I came away feeling much lighter, with lots of information about what is normal, and ways I can gently facilitate my daughter’s sleep. I also now know I can reach out to Lucy for help again. This is a great comfort to me as not once has she made me feel like an over anxious first time mum.

My daughter had always struggled to fall asleep without being patted and sang to. I spoke to Lucy and she gave me so much reassurance and suggested a couple of techniques that I could try. She completely understood that I didn't want to leave her to cry and made me feel like we could change things, when I had pretty much given up. Within just one week, my daughter started falling asleep in her cot by herself. When you start to see results, it really is the best feeling in the world.

When we first got in touch with Lucy we wanted her to help my son, as he was really struggling. He had started throwing himself out his cot, which was in our room, at 20 months, he didn't like his bed and he just was struggling to fall asleep and stay asleep. Two months ago my two year old used to throw up every few nights in his bed from getting upset, but with the small changes we have made he hasn't been sick for 3 weeks now. He also was waking up in the night for hours and would need over 14oz of milk to settle at bed time, which is way too much. He now only has 7oz of milk, he has halved the time it takes for him to fall asleep and he has such a happy relationship with his bed now. From day one Lucy has been so amazing and supportive, we communicate daily and work together as a team, she takes into consideration how we all feel and never makes us do anything that we are uncomfortable with.
